The Forwarding Squid is simply a redirecting service that allows you 30 GB of monthly bandwidth in which to redirect your domain to another domain or sub-directory of a chosen domain. Customers can choose between either Frame Forwarding and Standard Forwarding.
Though the plans are each different, they all come with a basic set of standard features that includes apache module mod_rewrite, the use of custom mime types, the ability to change your default page, custom error pages, access to log files, SSL & SSL Certificate management, the ability for domains to work with or without the preceding “www”, detailed graphical web stat reports, web based file managers, directory password protection through your control panel, Perl, Python &tcl, SSI, phpMyAdmin, CGI with your very own CGI bin, PHP 5.2 with a Zend Optimizer, MySQL 4.1 or MySQL 5.o, FTP access, email aliases, Spam Assassin 3.0 spam filtering, Parallels Plesk web-based control panel, browser based access to email via webmail, POP and IMAP email accounts, full weekly and daily differential, and remote data backups of your server to tape, with a 4 week retention, servers that are located at Rackspace’s world class data centers, RAID level 10 hard drive mirroring, and Dell PowerEdge servers that run Red Had Enterprise Linux operating system and Apache 2.2
